Parents of children in years 3,4,5 and 6, please encourage your children to complete this voluntary survey. It would really help us keep track of their health and well-being during these uncertain times.
Easter Project
Easter Project
Dear Children and Parents/ Carers,
During the Easter holiday (6-17 April), your teacher won’t be available every day. In that time, we’d love you to try to complete some parts of our exciting Easter project:
- Create a wonderful Easter Poem. This could be an acrostic poem, a haiku, a rhyming poem or anything you like. It could be about eggs or chocolate, lambs and springtime or the story of Jesus.
- Find out about Easter traditions around the world and present your findings- you could create a poster or write a report.
- Design an Easter Card for a relative who may be lonely. Lots of people may be a bit lonely at the moment. Can you make them a beautiful card to cheer them up?
- And here is the most exciting part-
- Design and make an Easter Bonnet or Hat for our virtual Easter Bonnet Parade: We had to cancel our Easter Bonnet Parade. We won’t let that stop us! We have PRIZES which we will send you in the post if you come first, second or third in our Easter Bonnet Parade in each class.
- Each class has a theme for their Easter Bonnet/Hat :
Nursery: Animals
Reception: Fairy Tales
Year 1/2: Castles
Year 3/4: Dinosaurs/ Fossils
Year 5/6: Buildings
Can you create a design on paper? Then try to recreate your design as a wearable hat/ bonnet? We need your photos and videos by 16th April so that we can judge them and announce the winners!
After the Easter holidays, our Distance Learning programme will start up again from 20th April.
Diolch yn fawr!
Have fun with your project and good luck with the competition!
